Position Summary
Thichum Forest Products is seeking a motivated and experienced Manager of Fibre Supply to
oversee fibre supply operations and lead key operational teams within the organization. This
leadership role is responsible for managing fibre supply agreements, supervising operational staff
and contractors, and ensuring efficient delivery and handling of fibre to support manufacturing
and operational objectives.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and people leader with experience
working in unionized forestry environments and coordinating complex fibre supply logistics.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and support supervisors responsible for log dump operations and unionized
dryland sort (DLS) activities
• Manage and administer fibre supply agreements and related operational commitments
• Coordinate fibre flow, inventory management, and delivery logistics
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with contractors, suppliers, customers,
and partners
• Provide leadership and mentorship to operational teams while fostering a positive and
safety-focused culture
• Support strategic planning related to fibre sourcing and long-term operational objectives
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
• Collaborate with internal forestry, operations, and finance teams to support business
goals
• Participate in budgeting, reporting, and operational performance tracking

Qualifications & Experience
• Experience in forestry operations, fibre supply, log sort, or woodlands management
• Demonstrated leadership experience supervising teams in a unionized environment
• Strong understanding of coastal forestry operations and fibre logistics
• Experience managing contracts or fibre supply agreements is considered an asset
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with First Nations, industry partners, and stakeholders
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence

This position is based in the beautiful qathet region on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast.
