TLA scholarships
The TLA has been awarding scholarships to forestry students for over 31 years, helping hardworking students at UBC, BCIT and VIU achieve their goals.
We couldn’t do this without the support of our members who donate items to the TLA’s Donor Auctions or without the support of those people who purchase the items. The proceeds from our Donor Auctions support these important awards.
In addition to the award presented below, in 2012, the TLA will be establishing two Minerva Foundation awards at North Island College for women who are interested in entering their new harvesting program.

MINISTER WITH TLA SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
Jan. 19, 2012 – Minister Steve Thomson with TLA Scholarship recipients, students enrolled in BCIT’s natural resources program. Minister Thomson made the presentations after his keynote speech at the Truck Loggers Association’s 69th annual convention.
