A&A Trading Ltd. and its affiliates harvest over 800,000 m3 on an annual basis, contributing well over $60,000,000 to the provincial economy. We currently employ 80 individuals directly. As well, hundreds of others are employed by our various contractors, such as fallers, loggers, road builders, haulers, scalers, tree planters and companies who transport the timber. If log exports were banned our harvest levels, employment levels and contribution to the provincial economy would drop by about 75%.
